Are the speakers in stock?
You can see any individual item's availability by viewing the product page for that item. If it isn't in stock, we'll provide a date for shipment. Otherwise, all of our products are in stock and ready to be shipped!
Can I buy the speakers separately?
Yes. Any speaker can be purchased individually. Just look for the "quantity" box when ordering.
Can I customize a system (preconfigured system)?
Yes. Find the system that most closely fits your needs in our store. Then click "details", and then "customize this sytem." Also, any of our speakers and subwoofers can be purchased in singles, or whatever quantity you desire.
Can I talk to other customers before buying?
Yes! Our forum is a great place to chat with existing Aperion customers about our products and services. We think you'll find people are very enthusiastic about answering your questions.
Do you have a catalog?
Our entire product line and all associated information is available on our website. If you would like you can download a full color catalog, or if you rather we're happy to send one to you - please email your request.
Do you have a trade-up program?
Yes! With Aperion's one-year full value trade-up program, you'll have a full year to keep your finger on the pulse of Aperion's never ending quest for perfection. If during that year, Aperion introduces a bigger, badder, more expensive speaker that you just can't live without, simply contact our customer service department to arrange a full value trade-up to the new product. The caveat to this peace of mind is that your migration is to a better (i.e. more expensive) speaker than the one you currently own. Taking advantage of our Trade-Up Program couldn't be easier. Simply contact us for a Return Authorization (RA) on your old speakers. Once approved, you can buy your new speakers immediately on our website or over the phone. When we receive your old speakers, we'll credit your card the full value of what you paid, less shipping costs.
Details:
Request for trade-up must be made within one year of original purchase date. New speaker must be of higher cash value than older model. If new speaker is a revision of a previous model and has the same price as the previous model, it is not an eligible trade-up. Price increases on the same model you own do not qualify as a trade-up. Value is determined per individual speaker, not per speaker system. Free Shipping does not apply to trade-up orders. Contact us for a list of shipping costs. Trade-in speaker must be in good working order and free of damage. Trade-Up Program is not intended to upgrade the speaker configuration while downgrading the model of speakers. For example, it's not possible to trade in a 532-LR 2.1 system for a 422-LR 5.1 system. Subwoofers are not eligible for trade-up.
Do you have any dealers?
Aperion Audio doesn't distribute our products to dealers because this often involves markup and, therefore, takes away from the value of the speaker. We are the only dealer you'll ever need!
Do you have finish swatches available?
Currently, we do not have finish swatches available on request but will in the near future. If you're interested in samples of our finishes, please email us at customerservice@aperionaudio.com and we will contact you when they're available.
Do you offer discounts?
Aperion Audio does not offer discounts on its new, factory fresh merchandise. We do offer discount on open box speakers. For information on availability of open box merchandise, please contact customer service.
Do you sell open box products?
Aperion Audio does sell open box products. Availability is in constant flux so you won't find them on our website. For information/availability on A and B stock speakers, please contact customer service.
Do your speakers come with speaker wire?
Aperion Audio speakers do not come with speaker wire. Wire can be purchased separately in our wire and cable section or from a local vendor. If you have questions about what speaker wire will work best for your, please contact customer service.
How big are your speakers?
They're bigger than they look! Please double check the dimensions. The dimensions for any Aperion speaker will be listed in the "Specs" tab on any given product page. Please note that the dimensions offered may include the bass on a floor standing speaker or speaker stand.
How can I demo your speakers?
We feel that the only place to really demo a speaker is in your room with your electronics. For this reason, we offer our Totally Risk Free In-Home Audition™ that includes free shipping both ways + 30 days to decide. Read the details.
How do I get a recommendation on a system (room size, music/movies, personal prefs, flooring)?
We have a few easy ways to get a recommendation on the system that's right for you. First, try our web-based "Recommend a System" tool [link to recommend a system]. You'll need to know your room dimensions and some of your personal preferences. Another option is to take a few digital images of your room (front, back, sides) and email them to us. Include your room dimensions, your listening focus (type of music, just movies, etc) and we'll email you back very shortly with a recommendation! You can also learn more by visiting our store [link to store/systems]. There are many popular systems listed all with details on best-use and application.
How do I get my significant other to approve of the purchase?
Bribery? But seriously, talk with them and find their major concern. If it's aesthetics, let them know that we use premium, furniture-grade finishes on all our speakers, like real cherry wood or piano gloss black. We also have some in-wall and in-ceiling options for a completely seamless aesthetic experience. If their concerns are financial, let them know that we are a speaker manufacturer who sells direct over the internet. Instead of paying the middleman, we put that money where it really counts: into the speakers. If they don't think you need a surround sound system, just take us up on our Risk Free 30 Day In-Home Audition™. Once they hear it, they'll never let you send it back!

Things to think about while you wait for your order
First take a peek at your owner’s manual. Read up and begin planning out your room. Email us at customerservice@aperionaudio.com, or call us at 888.880.8992 with any questions.
Clear space where your speakers will go. If you already have your mounting hardware, you can assemble it and set it where your speakers will go. But don’t install quite yet - wait until you get the speakers in case you need to make any last minute changes to the placement. If you've already purchased wire, pre-cut the wire and strip it so it’s ready to connect. Track your package to confirm the day of delivery. There should be some additional how-to guides on setting your system up. Read those too. You can find them by logging into My Aperion, and clicking on "My Product Documentation". Visit the Forum to catch up with your new Aperion friends. They will also help answer any of your toughest questions.
Things you should know before you buy
1. Getting the right speakers for you. Make sure the speakers you’re considering are right for you. Get a second opinion from our Recommend-A-System tool. Or even better, email to our gurus a couple digital images of your room, along with your room dimensions and personal preferences (re: types of movies, or music).
2. Where your speakers will be placed. This will determine whether or not you need speaker stands and how much cable you will need to buy.
3. The dimensions of the speakers. Take a good look at the Specifications Tab on all of our individual product pages. There you will find all the meaty details about your purchase including the dimensions. Our products range in size from our mighty mice in the 4 Series to the full bodied 6 Series to our almost invisible in-wall and in-ceiling speakers.
4. Who will be home to sign for the packages. As a default, all our shipments are sent via FedEx Ground with a signature required. If you request it, we can ship without a signature. However, once FedEx leaves the packages, they are no longer liable for losses or damages. Save your packing material. A great deal of time and attention was spent on creating protective packaging for our products. Plus, using our packaging is the best way to insure you will receive a full credit on your return or exchange.
What if my card-issuing bank will not authorize a high-dollar purchase?
Call your bank to find out if this is true for you. If so, you can let them know you will consent to this particular purchase. Then you simply resubmit your order online. We do not accept international credit cards. Please contact your bank for more information.

We all know that our "big box" competition can make even marginal speakers sound decent with enough invested in an acoustically engineered sound room. If you happen to be in the Portland, OR area, you can always stop by our office for a listen M-F 8:00-5:00 PT. However, you should be forewarned, we acoustically conditioned our listening room. Where do I get the discount code?
At this time, Aperion does not utilize any discount codes. If at any point we choose to do so, the information will be clearly published on our website.
Why are your speakers sometimes backordered?
As a rapidly growing company, the demand for our speakers is in constant flux. We do the best we can to make accurate projections but sometimes more people who want speakers than there are speakers to ship. Rest assured, we're doing all we can to assure that our items are always in stock and ready to go!
Will the speakers be too big for my room?
First, take a look at the speaker's dimensions (located under the product's specifications tab). Measure out the dimensions in your room, where you think the speakers will go, to get a good idea of the speaker's size. Second, make sure you get the right speaker for your room. Generally speaking, if you have a 30 ft x 30 ft room with vaulted ceilings, the small 422 satellites may not cut it. Conversely, if you have a 9 ft x 14 ft room, our biggest 633 towers may be a bit of overkill.
