    Hey everyone,

As you probably know we are gearing up to launch the first fully lossless wrieless product, the Intimus 4T Summit Wireless System.

Just in case you haven't seen it here's the product page for the 5.1 system, it is also available in a 7.1 configuration with two extra 4Bs.

I figured it would be good to have a thread where people can post their questions and where we can also collect all of the reviews in one place.

So to start off with, here's the first pro review that has been published, by David Pogue of the New York Times, check it out:

If you do have any questions regarding this system please feel free to post them here, or shoot us an email customerservice@aperionaudio.com or give us a call at 888-880-8992, thanks!

But what are those that swear by boutique speaker cables going to talk about?  Let me guess, the internal wire used from each speaker amp to the internal speaker terminals [:S].

I shared with a friend who's starting to get the bug after listening to my VFTs.  Looks like a very interesting offering, especially if starting a system from scratch.  Good luck!

Are there any plans to extend these wireless features to other Aperion spakers in the future?  Or will it just be limited to the speakers in this set?  How does the sound of a powered speaker compare to a non-powered one driven by an pre/pro and external amplifier?  Is there a way for you to use a non-aperion sub with this set?

Ha, indeed I can't wait to talk to someone hellbent on trying to upgrade the amps or some other ill advised modification.  [8-|]

Maybe?  If there was going to be another version it wouldn't happen for quite some time though, late next year at the absolute earliest.  I've compared them to the wired version with a Marantz SR7005 and thought the wireless versions provided a little more visceral punch due to them being actively bi-amped.

Not really, the HDMI out is the only output from the summit box.  I suppose you could if you were using a receiver as a pre-amp, but since we don't sell the system without the sub you would still end up with a very expensive ottoman in the form of the wireless Bravus 8A.  Unless you are thinking of using both together.

In other news the next review of the Summit System is dropping today in Wired magazine, it should be on page 47.
