    Just curious if anyone else has a problem with their sub-woofer moving around?  I have mine with the rubber feet on a hardwood floor and it has a tendency to vibrate around the room–or to the length of the cord–during spirited playing, much to the amazement of my dog.  Any suggestions on how to prevent it from moving around?

    I cannot even imagine that. I have the rubber feet on hardwood, with a first edition 12D. It has never budged.

    Was there a plastic, peel off coating on the rubber feet perhaps? If not, I cannot fathom what it would take to make a sub crawl across the floor like that, regarless of the power you have. They tend to be pretty heavy.

    Hell Trevyn, 

    Our current subs would be more likely to have this problem since they are down firing.

    It's not an issue I've heard many people having, but you could try the metal spikes fitted into the discs to see if that prevents the sub from moving a little better.

    Another option would be an isolation pad like this:

    Or if you wanted to go the DIY route I bet something as simple as a yoga style rubber mat under the sub would do the trick.
