Ben,

It depends on how far apart the speakers are and your distance from them. My rule of thumb is that you want to space the speakers about 75% of the distance that you are sitting from them. So if you are 10 feet from the 5C, then if the speakers are 7.5 feet apart they would not need to any toe in. If they are further apart then you will probably want to toe them in.

My technique for making sure they are toed in properly is to put on some music with vocals in two channel stereo. When you hear the vocals coming from the center channel even though it is not on the speakers are toed in properly.

As for the crossover I recommend setting them to small with an 80 Hz crossover and LFE+Mains turned on. But I also recommend trying out a variety of settings to see what you like best.
