Well after talking to the sales people I ordered the 4T towers. The 6T would have been way to big in my sitting room. However I will be ordering the 6T's as soon as I move to a bigger place. If thats within one year then I can do the upgrade, otherwise I will use these as secondary speakers. Man I can hardly wait my new Pioneer Elite will be here within 10 days and hopefully so will the 4T's. What do you guys think about the subwoofers? Should I go with the 8D, will that be enough for the 6T in the future? Do any of you have the 4C what do you think?
Hi pkhazer, hope you enjoy your 4Ts! If you think you may be going with the 6Ts down the road, I would definitely recommend a bigger sub–especially since subwoofers are the only items that do not qualify for the trade up program. While the 8D is a great sub no doubt, it would simply be adding more of the same bass to the 6Ts–a noble and worthy cause for sure, but also something that can be accomplished by goosing up the bass control in your receiver. I'd recommend looking at the 10D at least, and preferably the 12D for the best extension of deep bass above and beyond (below and beyond?) the 6Ts.
Well I went with the 4T's. I must say the pictures online do not do them enough justice. These things are beautiful. I have always thought of speakers as eye soars ( a necessary evil) but the Aperions look great in my sitting room. I played some movies on my BD and my wife was really impressed. However on Music the 4T's are good but not impressive that was my impression for the first week. Then I realized that I needed to calibrate then with the mcacc on my pioneer OMG what a difference that made. Now I can say I am ipressed by these little speakers. The sound is very clear and detailed. The Bass these things put out is good for a 4 inch woofer. If these things sound so good it makes me wonder about the 5T and 6T's. Hmmm maybe I should upgrade LOL…..
Thank you Aperion for a great product, and thanks to everyone here for all the advice….
