    Dear Guru,

I'm going to buy 2 Verus Grand Towers to replace the front R/L speakers in my home theater. I have a front projection system with a 120-inch wide screen made of sound transparent (Seymour) material, and all three of my front speakers are mounted behind the screen, so size and placement are not an issue with which speakers I buy. Am I going to be better off buying a third Verus Grand Tower for the center channel speaker, or should I buy the Verus Grand Center? Seems to me that I'll get a more seamless soundstage with the three matching Grand Towers. Any advantage of the Grand Center? I use my system about 50-50 for music and movies/TV.

Hello and welcome to the forum!

Yes if you have an acoustically transparent screen then I do indeed recommend a three tower set up as you are correct that will give you an acoustically seamless correct.

We do specifically voice our center channels for movie dialogue, but the Verus Grand Tower really is the best speaker we make in any regard, so if you want to do three of them across the front I say go for it!

I hope that helps but please let me know if you have any other questions, thanks!

Thanks, Jason. Now all I need to do is save up for four MORE Grand Verus Towers and figure out how to attach them to my walls to replace my surrounds and rear surrounds :)

Glad to help and be sure to let me know when you find a good wall mount for the VGTs!   [;)]
