I am in the 3rd week testing my 5T and 5C and I got a voice delay problem when I do karaoke. My voice is between one to two seconds late when I sang. It happened when I used my new mixer and the same result when I didn't use the mixer but my karaoke player only. Besides the voice delay the voice effect from the 5C is also poor….I suspect it's my reciever, Pioneer VSX-9040-TXH, since I don't have the problem when I used my old receiver and my old speakers to do karaoke. There are so many features on nowadays' receivers and I wonder if I did something wrong on the features. I think my receiver will auto detect the source and select the appropriate signal, I wonder if it overrides the mixer when it is connected to the mixer. Pls help. I am quite frustrated at this point. Part of the reasons for my upgrade to 5T is karaoke.

My receiver has a delay function what you can set up manually if the voice/lips are out of sync…check in  your receiver for a setting

I know this is an old post, but I figured this may benefit future troubleshooters:

I experienced delay when playing my guitar live through my receiver, and found that turning off the signal processing that the receiver does to correct for room acoustics (MCAAC, Audyssey, etc.) solved the issue. Set it to your equipment's version of Pure Direct mode.
