I recently purchased a pair of 5b's for my rear channels in a 5.1 set up. Now what height stands should I get? I was thinking about going with a 24" set but remember reading somewhere that 31" is better. Which one and will I notice any real difference?

Thanks for any input in advance

Never mind. I got my answer. I should have just searched online first before posting. Anyway through research I discovered that it should be slightly higher than ear level. A good judge is to have it at ear height while standing. Also you should have them anywhere from 90 to 110 degrees from the tv to your listen area. Lastly you also should try not to have them with direct line to your listening area so that they do not drown out your front stage.

I posted that just incase anyone else asks. HAHA

I bought the i29's that Aperion has on their site as recommended stands, and REALLY like them. For what it's worth…

EDIT: Just saw that you were using them for surrounds.  Yes, surrounds are supposed to be considerably above ear level if you can pull it off.
