The new website is launched - let us know what you think.

As you know by now we have launched our new website and we would love to hear what you think of all the new features.

    Post your feedback here...

    I love it!

The 'Home Theater Crash Course' is a great area for 'newbies' to the HT world.  Very imfomative and well laid out.

I also enjoy the 'Aperion Who?' area, getting to put some faces with the names and getting to know the Aperion family.  Guess my main man Korey doesn't make the management section though?  Maybe you can give him a little 'Employee Spotlight' section under 'What's New', he has made my experience with Aperion stellar thus far!  WAY above and beyond what is expected!!!

Oh, and I love the addition of the 'Forum', but that is probably obvious by my post count already...

A couple more thoughts, and maybe you guys are already working on this, cause I noticed the 'members list' just seemed to come alive with inputting your personal information on there.

    1. Is there a way to jump to the last read message in a post instead of scrolling through?  It looks as though the grey arrow beside the 'last poster' name could/will offer this?

    2. Could/will a 'jump to next page' button show up at the top of a forum page as well as the bottom?  I guess the 'jump to' grey arrow above would eliminate or lessen the need for this option.

    3. Will the 'my aperion' system page be available at anytime for other users to see?  Would be interesting to see what other electronics, cables, etc. people are pairing with their Aperion speakers.

    Just some thoughts...

I'm very impressed with the site.  I've done a ton of reading on Audio and this had excellent information.  Perhaps not white paper engineering material but pertinent for most consumers. Given how much some folks read about equipment, maybe the option of some more detailed design reading would be nice.

The home audio course was nice but perhaps some help in guiding you through it from beginning to end. I wasn't sure sometimes if I'd already read part of it or not but I was able to get through it, just with a little more effort.

I'd like to see some comparative information on your products which make them sound different or better then other speakers. I can tell you put a ton of research and design into getting a modestly prices speaker which reviewers and owners seem to love and I'd also like to read how they compare to others such. I may just call you guys for that information though.

The look and layout of the site though are top notch. It looks like you guys invested a ton in the site and you definitely got what you paid for.

I noticed a few small problems on your site. When you are going through the recommend a system, you don't have the option of picking the VACC for your center channel. Also you don't have the option of saying no thanks to a subwoofer choice. I'm already the proud owner of an S-12. and that's plenty for now. But if I were to configure a new system of speakers for purchase I would want the option of saying no thanks to a subwoofer.

    Hi Mitch,

Thank you for the observation about not being able to say no thanks to the sub. I have passed your comments on to David Hogan, our COO to address it. It may take a few days. As will all major undertakings, we're discovering lots of little annoyances like that.

Please feel free to make note of any other issues. We've been so close to this project for so long, it's hard to step back and see even obvious mistakes.

    Cheers,

    Win

RE: The new website is launched - let us know what you think.

    Hi Mitch,

We are working on adding the VACC to the system builder paths as we speak. Our programers are working on finishing the flash for the system builder as well as the product rotation shots for the product pages.

We were so excited about launching the new site and making this great product available that we didn't want to hold up the launch of the site. The programming should be finished soon and you will be able to add the VACC from any of the system builder paths.

We are also working on allowing you to select a system without a sub but in the meantime, you can load your system into the system builder and click on the view details tab. Then, select the subwoofer and delete it and go to checkout. You can also send the entire system to the shopping cart and delete the subwoofer there.

    Cheers,

Thanks Aperion. For your quick response and your attention to details. Just another example of a company that cares with quality customer service.

I like the look of the new site, but I have noticed that I can not view the frequency response graphs anymore. Also (If its not too much trouble) I would like to see the Intimus S-8 in a cherry finsh for the close up and 360 degree view.

Great website guys!  But could you install the little button that lets you remember your username and password so you don't have to type it in everytime.

    thanks

I would second michael's thought above about installing a 'cookie' to remember a user, because once you log in to reply to a new post, all the 'new post' keys dissapear from the sidebar of the forums?

I will bring that up to the webmaster. Hope to have something soon on this. I know it's annoying to re-login every 20 minutes.

    Best,

I noticed no picture of the VACC here.

Also, any update to the cookie feature or on the arrow on the right side of the thread box that should take you to the last post in that thread?

RE: The new website is launched - let us know what you think.

Another suggestion (or maybe I am missing something):

It would be nice to be able to edit the post you are 'quoting' in your response, the original quote may be a few paragraphs long, but you may be responding to a single sentence or question.

    Just a thought...

......this forum needs a spell check for us bad spellrs

Again, that you all for posting here.  We are always looking for ways to improve things and input is welcomed.  We are taking a look at some of the posts to see if/how they can be accomplished.
