    Epic Song List

Well, I recently ordered a 4T Grand SD.... and now I'm crazy excited. I'm upgrading from a $70 2.1 speaker system thats hook up to my TVs headphone port. In fact, I've never even heard a nice surround sound system, other than at the theater, so I'm psyched! I also purchased a Pioneer VSX-1018-AH-K Reciever, which is sitting here waiting with me... To make the time pass by quickly I came up with an epic list of songs I will be testing out on my new system. Tell me what you think, and what you would add (note: rap and country are not allowed in this thread):

    Dream On Aerosmith
    Smooth Criminal Alien Ant Farm
    Bat Country Avenged Sevenfold
Beast and the Harlot Avenged Sevenfold
Smoke on the Water Deep Purple
    Inside the Fire Disturbed
Letters Home From the Garden of Stone Everlast
Never Enough Five Finger Death Punch
    Fully Alive Flyleaf
    I Stand Alone Godsmack
    Releasing the Demons Godsmack
    Straight out of Line Godsmack
    Brain Stew Greenday
    Jesus of Suburbia Greenday
    Misery Greenday
Sweet Child o' Mine Guns N Roses
    Stairway to Heaven Led Zeppelin
    Battle Flag Lo Fidelity All-Stars
    Freebird Lynyrd Skynyrd
    Enter Sandman Metallica
    Smells like Teen Spirit Nirvana
Another Brick in the Wall Pink Floyd
    Bohemian Rhapsody Queen
    Du Hast Rammstein
    Eifersucht Rammstein
Dani California Red Hot Chili Peppers

I think your neighbors are going to love you!  Wink

How about some NIN?  Pretty much anything off the Downward Spiral rules.

Yes [Y] Re: Epic Song List

It may not be traditional hard rock, but I really like Metallica's S&M album on DVD in 5.1.  It really sounds killer on our speakers.

I don't have the DVD, but I do have the CD, and it is killer. I remember the day I bought that CD all those years ago. Strange.

    Re: Epic Song List

I have the S&M CDs too. The cool thing about it is I can get away with cranking 'tallica while my wife is home and she actually enjoys it.  Well, at least a few of the songs (The Call of Ktulu is her favorite).  Is the DVD really encoded in 5.1?  I checked online at Amazon and Best Buy and couldn't tell.
