Just hooked up a Emotiva XPA-3

I have to say the 3 6T Towers really enjoy the extra juice.  Keep thinking it cannot get any better and it does.  They really sing now when listening to 2 channel music, and for HT the 3808 is running the 4 surrounds...everything sounds a step up from before.

I keep debating adding an Emo amp to my setup, but with my 876, it seems like there's a lot of pretty good power coming out of that sucker.  Not so sure the Emo amp would be a substantial enough upgrade to justify the price.

I was debating for awhile also.  My 3808 is rated at 130 watts and I believe the 876 is at 140 watts.  The denon I believe was around 110 watts or so with 5 channels driven...which is not bad.  But with that being said the Emo has around 200 watts per channel and there is a diffrence in punch and clarity.  Give it a try I believe they offer a 30 day trial.  You may be in for a surprise.  Here is a link showing the power of the 3808.

Bigger debate (in my brain): Add an amp to my current setup (5B, 5C), or move up to a 6C and 6Bs.  Eventually both, I'm sure.

Mostly, now that the dipole 4-series are out, if they're going to make changes to any of the rest of the line (like the magnetized grills), I'd rather wait on new speaks.

Of course, with those open box 6Bs on this site burning themselves into my eyes, the temptation grows stronger...

I'm sure you have heard that the 6Bs are our least sensitive speaker, so if you do go for them then you'll definitely benefit from the Emotiva.

As for updates to our existing line, don't plan on that happening this year.
