I am trying to set up a perfect home theater in the not so perfect room. My couch is up against the wall so where would be the best place to get the surround sound from, I was thinking about mounting them to the side of the couch and have them pointed towards the couch. If I knew how to post a picture on here I would that way it would explain what I have much better.

Hi David and thanks for your inquiry. Not sure how we missed your post, my apologies, but your idea for the sidewalls sounds perfect--especially with the 5DBs or the new 4BPs which work best for placing surround speakers to your sides.
