I HAVE A CHOICE OVER THE ONKYO TX SR606 OR THE ONKYO TX SR607 the receiver will mostly be used for movies, shows, and music

 i can get the Onkyo tx sr606 for around 265 while the onkyo tx sr607 for around 320 ill be running 4ts for L/R centers and a 5c center channel with 5bs as surrounds  what should i go for?

oh yeah i forgot the Onkyo tx sr607 HDMI out doesn't work but i dont see how i will be using it anyways i wont be using the up conversion 

Personally, I would be weary of purchasing a AVR with a known problem.

Hi phenosity, I'd also be a bit apprehensive on the 607; even if you don't use the upconversion, you may still need to use the HDMI out if you're running video sources through the receiver, wanting to use the HDMI for on screen displays, etc. I'd stick with the 606 as they're not that much different.
