    Transformers 2

I just watched transformers 2 on bluray and it totally blew me away. It's the best movie I have watched on my home theater system. The sound that comes through the Aperion's are awesome. My boys like it when I crank up the volume to 55 on the Onkyo 607.

Got that sucker sitting at home on blu-ray and plan on watching it this weekend.

Did you see it in the theater also?  I heard that it was hard to grasp the action on a movie screen size cause they "filmed" the fight scenes up close, but that on a home TV it looked better.

No, I didn't see it at the theater since I have my own home theater I don't go to the movies anymore. My friends tell me that my system is better than going to the theater cause I don't mind cranking up the volume, that's the nice thing about living in the country no neighbors close either. I think the 2nd one is much better than the first Transformers movie.

+1, I can't get over how great this movie sounds and looks--definitely the best sounding demo disc we have here so far. Even the surround effects in the beginning are incredible, and the bass! Crazy, crazy deep bass.

agreed. while the movie was subpar (as any other michael bay movie), the sound was simply astonishing. after i had finished the movie, i actually went back to the beginning and ended up rewatching a half of the movie over again so i can capture all the little nuances flowing through every single channel of the 5.1 mix. simply incredible.
