    522D-PT sub driver issue

I turned on my system today and was wondering what this popping noise was, thought it was the TV channel, kind of sounded like someone on sport center was messing with their microphone or it was rubbing on their clothing.  When it was also doing it during the commercial I investigated.

The sub driver on the speaker is continually being 'pulled in' when the power is plugged into the speaker.  The popping sound was the occasional release of the speaker to its normal position.  I unplugged the speaker, unplugged the speaker inputs and plugged it back in and you can see the cone retract into the cabinet, constantly magnetized.  Is this something that I might be able to fix in my home, or would it require me to send the speaker in, or maybe just the amp module?

    Thanks,

    Matt
