[My first post.] Jim, about your couch: Is that the "movable chaise" couch from Robinsons May (I forget the manufacturer) It's such a great-looking and comfortable couch at such a reasonable price. I have one arriving for my HT this saturday that looks very similar. As for videogame consoles, all of the modern consoles support *some* form of surround sound: The Xbox and Xbox 360 probably have the best surround sound features. The original XBOX requires the purchase of a "HD Pack" for digital audio out because it only supports stereo sound out of the box. <P>One of the added benefits of the Xbox, I'll note, is that if you have the time and know-how, it's an incredibly versatile system. Hundreds of enterprising folks have cracked open their xbox and, with a few inexpensive upgrades turned it into a full-fledged media center PC, supporting a/v in every file format imaginable. (This will void your warranty, though). The PS2 also supports surround sound and even already has a fiber optic out port. You'll have to buy your own cord, though. The gamecube does not support "true" surround sound, but does support Dolby Pro Logic II's "Virtual Surround."
YIKES...all my formatting disappears when I post. How do I add spacing to this thing?
