Sorry but there's no way you can say, I'll have a Franziskaner and my buddy here will have a Warsteiner at last call; by the time you got it out correctly the bar would be closed.
I wonder if we'll ever find out why the Onkyo was shutting off? You are right about the speaker wiring. When I did my subwoofer in the cabinet experiment I had to move the entertainment center out a bit. There's a shelf above the TV that holds the 5C that I always take out when move the entertainment center (the idea of a 5C and a heavy wood shelf landing on my 55" TV keeps me up at nights). Without thinking, I unplugged the wires from the 5C (it has banana plugs) and they touched. That immediately shut down my Yamaha RX-V1800. After muttering a profanity at myself, i made sure the wires weren't touching and turned the Yamaha back on - the display said "Check SP Wires" but all was well.
