Although I don't have a dog, so I guess for me that one would just be "wander around the neighborhood aimlessly" which is kinda creepy.  Hmmmm.

As long as it's not in my neighborhood !!   I wouldn't recommend doing that in Alabama Smile

Awesome rating system, Michael!  And Hicks, if you ever find yourself wandering aimlessly in the Sacramento, CA area, I'd be more than happy to invite you in and play some choice demos for you to show off my Aperions.  This is provided I'm home and not out walking the dog when I should be watching a movie...

Good choice, no animator beats Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli

The Friday night movie was " Couples Retreat", staring Vince Vaughn. Vince Vaughn stars in, produced and was one of the writers for this cutesy comedy. There are some good laughs here and all the wives and girl friends will want to take up yoga with the instructor in this movie. Vince Vaughn fans will find this one of his better films, although I can't seem to find any other movie he has done that was any good.

Two Pauses are awarded for this movie.

This weeks Friday night movie was "The Invention of Lying". A good movie for the family. Imagine a world where nobody lies, it's taken for granted that everybody tells the truth, all the time. Even advertisers.

    Two Pauses.

Check out Clay Pigeons.  A dark comedy with plenty of blood.  Great movie with Vince Vaughn and Joaquin Phoenix.

Watched a good movie last night. "Undertaking Betty". A fun movie for the whole family, with alot of actors you will recognize. This is a good example of a good script, well executed by good actors.

I rate this movie Two Pauses.

If you haven't seen "Hurt Locker" yet, I recommend it.  I saw it on another thread, but didn't see it mentioned here.  It won Best Picture and a bunch of other Oscars including some for sound.  I was tired after watching it because every muscle in my body was tensed up waiting for a bomb to explode for 2 hours.  And I don't even have my new speakers yet!  Going to re-rent it after I get my new system.  At least this time I'll know when stuff is going to start blowing up.

Re: How about a good movie to watch.......

I just watched The Book of Eli and Cop Out. We run the SITE TV system on my ship, so we get to watch the movies. Too bad we distribute the signal via Hi8. It just looks so shitty and we only have TV sound.

I liked them both. Tracey Morgan in Cop Out cracks me up!

The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up about their waists and all the whores and politicians will look up and shout "Save us!"... and I'll whisper "no."

Sorry I have been neglectful in my ratings. But here is a movie worth watching "Mary and Max". A claymation delight. Two pauses.

Just watched a Chinese movie last night, very strange, very strange. "The Good, The Bad, The Weird" Yep, thats the title. Set in some period near WW2, but it's a western in China. Yes China. The movie is a Chinese version of The Good The Bad and The Ugly. The idea is that the three gunfighters are after a treasure map which will lead them to a fabulous treasure. Lots of gun shots, lots of explosions and plenty of stabings. Respectable body count.

    Rated: Two Pauses

I prefer it to the Dark Knight, but I know that I might be in the minority on that. Don't get me wrong.

Dark Knight is excellent. But Batman Begins to me is better.

    Thanks for the post.

So, would that be classified as a Lo Mein Western?

On another topic, I sometimes wish I worked for an Anti-Virus/Malware company so I could click on these insane links that people post.  One day, my curiosity will get the better of me...
