    Aperions Soundroom

Hi Folks. Below are some pictures of Aperion's Soundroom. Our soundroom is located at our offices here in Portland, OR. We use the room to demo products for walk-in customers. We also use it to test protoyptes, and A/B speakers for product development puposes. The room is 14 x 18 with a standard 8ft ceiling. You'll notice acoustic panels throughout the room. We custom made those ourselves when the room was being put together. I thought these pics would help in comparing relative size between our speakers.

First off, the front. Here you can see (from the outside going in):633-T, 533-PT, 632-LR, 532-LR, 422-LR, and the 533VAC in center.

Next is the back. Here you'll see the 532-LR mounted to the wall with the BT77 wall mount. We have three of them back here so we can demo 6.1 or 7.1. Your choice. You'll also see our new 632-IW In Wall speaker.

    Here's a close-up of the 633-T, 533PT, 632-LR, 532-LR:

Here's the left side wall, where you can see the 534-SS dipole/bipole (on wall), 532-LR (on i29 stand), and 422-LR (on i30 stand)

And some cool shots of everything else:

    That's great Ben thanks.
Any chance we could see a picture with the grills on?

Thanks Ben!  So, did the platform bottoms of the 633T's stay that larger size?

    Hi Jim,

It's good to see you back in the forum. Did you take a vacation? We missed you. The bases on the 633's have shrunk to match the PT's. The towers in our soundroom are the production samples we used at the HE show. All the new products have been shipped to customers and we have been selling so many that we can't spare a new set for the soundroom. The photos of the new product are complete and should be loaded into the rotation tool on the product pages in the next week or so.

    Cheers,

    John Wanderscheid

Thanks John!  Nope, no vacation, just been busy and travelling with work.  Vacation is coming up though.  San Francisco to celebrate our 2nd anniversary end of Oct.!

    RE: Aperions Soundroom

Hi there. Here's a similar shot with the grilles...

and more of a front on shot...

Keep in mind, like John said, the 633's have a slightly larger base here. The production models that we send out have a smaller base, very much like the 533-PT's.

I like how you repositioned the rack, it's more accurate to my setup. I loved demoing the speakers in your show room and plan on visiting it soon to upgrade my center channel and buy some wall mounts

    RE: Aperions Soundroom

I see Aperion in-walls above, but I don't find them anywhere else on the site.  Are they still available?  Where do I learn more?  Thanks.

    RE: Aperions Soundroom

Just saw mention of the Music Hall CD25, I recently bought the previous version the, MMF-25 on audiogon for 350 bucks for my 2-channel system.

(NHT SuperZero with North Creek crossover upgrade, NHT SW2P subwoofer, Jolida 1301A hybrid integrated amp (tube pre's, solid state output), Music Hall MMF-25 CD player.)

I have to say that the sound quality is simply amazing, I know there are arguments that it's very difficult if not impossible to hear the difference in modern DAC's but the difference between this player and my DVD2900 (no slouch) wasn't small...

I highly recommend the unit for a basic single disc CD only player!
