    Rotel RMB-1077

Is the Rotel RMB-1077 a good match for the combination of 533-T, 533VAC and 532LR?

I am considering using the Denon 2807 as a pre/pro and adding the Rotel as an external amp.  Anyone run this or a similar setup?

    Link to Rotel: http://www.rotel.com/products/specs/rmb1077.htm

Link to Denon: http://usa.denon.com/ProductDetails/3038.asp  - Already Own and very happy with.

Will adding the Rotel make a big difference or is it a waste of money?

I have yet to here the Aperions  . That being said I'd say the Rotel would do a fantastic job with your set up . I owed a Rotel 1065 a few years back and Also had the 1066 and 1085 amp . The Rotel stuff is top notch .

    Hey Victor,

Rotel does make some really nice gear, and the 2807 should do quite well as a pre/pro.   My set up is similar in the fact that I use a Pioneer Elite VSX54 as the pre/pro and a Sherbourn 7/1250A 7 channel amp to power my 633t and 634vac. I have never had a chance to listen to the 1077, but reviews are great, especially for a class D amp.   I do wonder about differences you will hear vs the Denon.  Power is about the same, so it will come down to sound quality.  My guess would be that the Rotel will sound better, but you never know until you take a listen.  Personally, for the price of the 1077, I would also consider the Outlaw Audio 7700 or 7200, that is, if you have the space.

    Enjoy!

That Rotel amp is excellent. It can push some large speakers, so it should have no problem at all running your surround system much better than your Denon receiver has. No doubt you will be very impressed with the difference. It will give you a true 100x7 which is more real power than what your receiver is capable of.

I actually had the pleasure of hearing one of these amps before they were released a couple years ago ( or however long ago it was). Very impressive.
