I might be interested in checking these out for a replacement to some NHT SuperZero's with modded crossovers.  Not sure that they could stand up though...what do you think?  (sure, for bass, but I have a small sub for the NHT's).

    Matt,

Sounds like you are comparing apples to Oranges?  You are comparing a sattelite to a tower speaker?

Anyway, why take our word for it. Take advantage of the no risk 30 day in home trial.  If the 4T doesn't do it for you then send em back and you get all your money back, and that's no joke!  The 4T is new around here and many of us are really excited about them, initial reports from the factory are real good.

Please note..Aperion uses the same tweeter and driver materials in all their speakers as well as the famous furniture quality finish.  Just saying your not going to get cheaper components by going with a 4 series vs a 5 series.

Anyway, you are going to get a real clean neutral sound with Aperions. And the new tweeter can be pushed without breaking a sweat, you'll probably break your AVR first.

Best of luck to you Matt.

    Re: Aperion 4T's

Any 4T owners out there yet?  They look pretty sweet but are they too short?  The bottom of the lower mid/woofer is about the same on all 3 towers but the tweeter is quite a bit lower.  Does it matter?

Oh yea, looking forward to the frequency graph!

I am officially beyond my 30 days but I am keeping my boxes for upgrade time!

    Cheers
