    Upgrading Soon

    Greetings,

I'm in the process of redoing my HT/audio system.  The plan is purchase the Outlaw 990 Pre/Pro and Outlaw 7125 multi-channel amp.  I want to couple this with the Aperion 633-T.

What are your thoughts about this?  Do any of you own any Outlaw equipment and what opinions do you have as it relates to value and performance?

    All the best,

    Al

    Hi Al,

By all accounts, Outlaw audio is an excellent value and has great reviews all around. I know a person that has the Outlaw receiver coupled with Aperion speakers and likes the combination (I have not heard it). The review section on the Outlaw web site has a link to an Outlaw review with Aperion speakers, although it is not with their pre/pro.

The only downside for me of their pre/pro is the lack of hdmi support, they have been a little slow in that regard. However, dvi can convert to hdmi just fine... you may not need neither.

I have never read a bad review on Outlaw amps. In fact, it is on my very-short list of amps to buy when I decide to upgrade.

I know that is not much, but hope it helps.

    Put it this way...

We have the 990 preamp, along with the 770 Amp in our showroom here at Aperion. It makes our speakers sing...James is right in that they are lacking  HDMI, but other then that, they make great electronics that couple very well with our speakers...
