    This is a start...

So, after about 3 years of gawking at Aperion Audio speakers and not really being able to justify purchasing new speakers to replace the setup I have now, I have finally started the ball rolling.  With the way the economy is, I still can't justify buying a whole 7.1 system right now considering I'm looking at spending quite a bit after I'm all done.  I dove in today by getting the 6C center channel.  I've been mulling it over for a while and I think that it will give me the best bang for my buck right now since I watch a lot of movies.  I'll probably be getting the 6Ts next for the fronts and bring my existing front towers to my surround L/R.  I do want to thank all the current owners and gurus on here for all of the information that they've given through the posts on here.  It's easy for people to buy a product and never come back to the site to help others make a decision, but it seems that you guys are special and have this connection with this product which only tells me that it must be a wonderful product.  I'm excited and can't wait to get this beautiful speaker and will definitely give it a review after breaking it in and listening it for a while.

Sweet Jon, thanks for that! The 6C is our flagship center channel, so I hope that it fulfills your needs and then some...If you have any questions about setup, feel free to contact a guru or two...

    Enjoy!

    Thanks Davey!!

I think the help that you guys have given me through the live chat really helped me move up to the 6C.  I was intent on getting the 5C, which by the way sounds like it's a great center as well, but after hearing that the center is the most important speaker for movies with a lot of sounds going to this speaker, it just made sense to not skimp on this speaker.  I love to play movies loud with lots of bass (unfortunately my neighbors disagree :)) so this was the only way to go.  I will probably have to watch all of my movies again after getting this speaker.

Yeah...The 6C is pretty darn burly. It handles that crucial roll with ease...

    Re: This is a start...

Just received the new 6C by delivery and all I have to say is damn the delivery time was fast.  Got here (California) in only 2 days.  I actually "worked from home" to make sure I didn't miss it.  Is that obsession?  LOL.  Anyways, it was sure boxed up securely and I love the velvet bag it came with.  Oh and the speaker, it's not bad either.  :P  Nah, j/k, it looks beautiful.  Oh and I knew it was big, but wow, I didn't think it was this big.  It's almost as wide as my towers (that I have now) are high.  Can't wait for the wife to see it and watch our first movie together using it.  I know I'll have to be patient and wait for it to break in, but I'm loving it so far.  Thanks Aperion for making such a great product!!

    Hey JonL,

Congrats on your center channel! Let us know what you think when you've had some time to spend with it.

A word of warning: Please be careful when deboxing and moving your center channel around. You've probably noticed that it is heavy and if you were to, say, drop it you could damage the center channel AND injur yourself. Just ask Davey. He knows a little something about that Surprise

    Hey Caleb,

Thanks for the advice.  I did notice how heavy it was just getting it in the door.  The thing is a monster, but I'm loving it so far.  It seemed "timid" when I first turned it on, but now it has opened up a bit.  I think I had it on for about 11hrs yesterday.  So I'm on my way to getting it broken in.  I believe you were the one who helped me regarding the 6C in the live chat and I'm glad you convinced me into getting the 6C.  I am pretty sure that I'm gonna love this speaker as it continues to open up.  I'll leave a review/comment on this speaker after a few weeks.

    Oops I did it again...

Well, thanks A LOT Aperion Audio!!  You just made me blow a bunch of money AGAIN!!  LOL... j/k.  I couldn't stand it anymore and after listening to the 6C and truly loving the sound from it, I relented and bought a pair of 6Ts.  This should tie me over for now (hopefully)... until next week when I get the 6Bs.  LOL.

Surprise I hope it satisfies you for now, becuase there isn't anything that Aperion currently offers beyond the 6T and 6C

Re: Oops I did it again...

Well, I'm building my 7.1 system pieces at a time and after first getting the 6C, I was so impressed with it, I really thought that my front towers (Audio Research speakers), while decent, weren't holding up their own.  So that was what I was more referring to that I should be able to hold off buying anymore speakers after getting the 6Ts (for now).

LOL... is that the 12T?  You could literally have one woofer/tweeter for every 4K frequency range up to 20KHz.
