    Hmmmmm, Popcorn! List your favorite!

An important ingredient in home theater movie viewing is popcorn.  OK, so it's not as important as your system, but it's nice to enjoy a movie with your favorite popcorn.   I usually enjoy watching a movie with Orville Redenbacher's Movie Theater Butter popcorn.  It's not exactly a 'light' menu item, but it is quite Tasty!

    JiffyPop!!!

Popcorn made the old-fashioned way: aluminum foil and singed fingers.

I like the Act II popcorn that we have here at the office. Everytime someone microwaves that stuff, I start to salivate. yikes.

I've never gone wrong with Pop Secret Movie Theater Butter Popcorn.  I also used to enjoy Orville Redenbacher's Double Feature Butter Pour Over microwave popcorn.  However, that was the equivalent of drinking cholesterol out of an asbestos coated mug!

Get a Back To Basics stovetop popper! using this method to cook popcorn (along with the assorted Back to Basics kernels, popping oil and flavorings) it's as close to the 'theater' as it gets!!! They also offer a caramel popcorn flavoring that is also delish!

I bought one of this machines for a friend as part of his Christmas present this past year, and after tasting it, went out and bought one for myself as well.

It takes a little more effort, but it is WELL worth it!Try it and enjoy!!!

Hi Jim. Where do you recommend going to check out this amazing popcorn popping system? A website perhaps?

By the way, I know this isn't related to ppcorn, but I have a huge addiction problem with nachos when watching a movie at home. It's just FEELS so right.

    Ben, here you go:

    http://www.backtobasicsproducts.com/tek9.asp?pg=products&specific=jnqofrg4

You can check out the rest of the site for their related products as well.  I bought mine locally at Le Gourmet Chef.  Any specialty kitchen store should have it (or something similar).  And you can find them just about anywhere during the holidays!

I am with you on nachos as well!  I may make a plate of those as much as I do popcorn.

I have to agree with Ben, my whole family likes the Act II popcorn. We usually end up getting the big box from Costco.

I also really like old-fashioned kettle corn, but that's a lot harder to get. I've seen microwaveable kettle corn, but it's just not the same.

I'm looking for a second opinion on the back to basics popper or one of the other stove top models.  Jim really got me thinking...

They're all good when accompanied with a few of my favorite (ICE COLD) brews.

Well, finally a topic with respect to which I have some expertise.  My favorite (at least among microwave brands) is Pop Secrete Hom  Style.  Deeelish.
