Yes I still love the old pioneer. I think I may bring it in for a servicing to extend its life since I've been putting more use into it than the 805. I wish I knew how to solder and could replace the caps myself, but I've never tried and don't want to harm it. I think my picture didn't do justice to the left side. Here's another shot:

The front of the left tower is just in front of that "corner" wall piece but the wall extends another 2ft or so so it gets to open up without immediately reflecting on the side of the room.
Next time I have to pull the tv stand out I'll try shifting it. The TV stand now weights >100lbs because of the 805, 6C, and TV. Too heavy! I'm getting a rocketfish to try to set up speakers in the kitchen. When I get that I'll have reason to move the TV stand all the way out and can try it then.
