Ah, Testament. The Ritual was a great record when it came
out.
It was eclipsed by LOW which for me was the epitome of the
band.
I know they had Thrashy stuff out before that, and continued
on afterward
but with songs like DOG FACED GODS, Hail Mary, Shades of War
etc it was just
a dynamite release.
They seemed like another band that never really got big, and
between shuffling line up and label problems (not to mention
the grunge movement)
got a little lost in the mix of things. But Low is certainly
outstanding
Maybe I should check out their more recent releases, I do
not think I have gotten any of their
stuff in over a dozen years.
