Does anyone know if Aperion will be selling the Onkyo Tx NR1000 anytime in the future?

Hi Alexander.  We currently have no plans to carry the Onkyo TXNR1000.  It is a great machine, though.

It saddens me to hear that.... :o( I am planning to purchase your 7.1 set up and was hoping that maybe you guys would have it in the future, so I could purchase it all in 1 shot....Oh well I guess I will just have to purchase the 7.1 system alone.....But Thx for the info Josh! Alex

Take a look at the harman/kardon AVR7300.  This is a very brutish (check the weight) 7 channel receiver and we do offer a package price when purchased with our speakers.  This receiver, while consertively rated on paper, packs a ton of power and can supply our speakers adequate power in all but the largest rooms.

  

I can vouch for the 7300.  That's what I have powering my theater's 7.1 Powered Tower/522/12" combo.  It's a monster and also has a very effective video upscaling feature.  Analog video never looked so good.

Thx guys! I looked into the HK 7300, However 2 things I am looking for in the receiver is THX ultra 2 and HDMI switching....at this point in the game the only receivers I know that have these 2 specs I want are the Onkyo TX NR1000, Denon AVR 4806 (April 2005 Realease) and the Denon AVR 5805. Do you guys know if HK has any receivers coming that will have these specs and if so will Aperion carry it? Thx Alex

Josh is only half right about the NR-1000. We will not be stocking this product but we can special order it for you. We don't have one to play with yet but we are considering ordering one for the HE show. If you really want one, give Ben a call and we can work out a special package price with your speaker system. They are available and would probably take about 2 weeks for a special order.
