Advance apologies for the bad pics, I have a sony cybershot and it does not do well in low light. As far as the set-up goes the sub and center were larger than I thought so I do not have optimal placement for them and am open to suggestions.
As far as the speakers go they are still breaking in but so far I am pretty impressed. Imaging is good, vocals are lush and smooth and there is plenty of sparkle up top. My only complaint so far is instrument separation, which seems to be slightly lacking. There could be more space between the instruments but instead they seem to be layered more closely together making it more difficult to separate each one. This is odd since the imaging is so good, you can still place them but it takes a little more work to pull one particular instrument out of the ensemble. A minor gripe from someone who listens for stuff like this but all the same it's there. I'm hoping this will dissipate with break in. For movies they are exceptional! Perfect positioning and placement of bullets and debris flying by. Dialogue is finally up to par with the 634-VAC, just beautiful!
Lastly my gear - Denon AVR-3801 (all speakers set to small, crossover at 80hz), 633-T, 634-VAC, 534-SS and HSU VTF3 MK3 and a Sony 52" XBR3.
