Good reminders Ben.  I didn't even know/think about the trade-up program as a program.  Now, to find the $ to upgrade my rears to the PT's...

The free SPL meter is a nice addition as well!  This is on top of whatever rebate/special you have going on?  NICE!!!

So if one were to get a pair of 522 Bookshelfs for surround in a 5.1 then you could upgrade to the dipoles when they come out for the cost difference?

That is correct Doug.  You can upgrade up within one year of your purchase.  You would receive a full credit back on your original purchase, you would only have to cover shipping.

What's the ETA on the Dipoles?

They are scheduled to ship on 9/27 and you can pre-order anytime by phone.

Does the trade-up policy apply to subwoofers as well?

The trade-up program would not apply to Subwoofers at this time.  However, you do have that original 30 day period to make sure that you have the correct subwoofer for your room.

What is the cost on the dipoles? trying to spec a system for purchase in the near future...

The Dipoles/Bipoles are going to sell for $490 for the pair.  The 9/27 date has been pushed out slightly per the link below, but they are on the way.
