What to do with the Insulation when mounting celling speakers

I am having a house build and my theater room is located in the basement. My builder is have the celling filled with an insulation/soundproofing material. My question is "Should I leave a two foot open box in the celling for the speaker? Or should I have them blow in all the insulatiion and when I mount the celling speakers pull out the extra insulation?

Which celling speakers would you recommend for the effect speakers? I have a set of Unity Audio Fountainhead Speakers.

thanks in advance for any and all information

The sound will be better if you surround the speaker with insulation, but since the blown in variety can be messy, I would cut some sheet insulation (w/o the paper backing) to surround the speaker.   A box is optional, but is probably easy to add between the joists while building.

Can't help in the selection process since I have never compared in-ceiling/in-wall speakers.
