    My ht setup

    Attachment: img_1134.jpg

My aperion speakers finally arrived last week.  I ordered the 533T, 532C, S10 and 422LR.  They are beautiful. A full, rich sound with clear and crisp reproduction. But still need some time to break them in.

The area is about 17 ft and 13ft.  I have a Benq w500 with 92inch carada BW screen.  My receiver is onkyo 705 with a hd-a35 player.

    Re: My ht setup

    Congratulations on your HT setup.

Nice choice in speakers and AVR.

    Just a suggestion:

You may want to experiment with speaker placement. Try angling the 533’s toward the center of the listening area and place them an equal distance from the walls with as much separation as you can get from the walls with the S-10 placed just to the right of the left 533.

Since most of the sound is directly radiated from the front mains to the listening area there are also reflected sounds bounced off walls to the listener and although the time delay of the reflected sounds may be small some may perceive it.

I find it fun to experiment a bit and that can sometimes be productive but in the end it is your opinion the counts the most.

Your center looks more like a 533-VAC than my 532-C.

Enjoy your HT setup and thanks for the pictures.

Uh...this thread has been dead for two years.  I doubt they're active on the forums anymore.
