    I placed my order!!

After more than 3 months researching I placed my order for the Intimus 532, I am expecting to recieve this in the following weeks! can`t wait!!

I was considering other brands, but hey, how could I go wrong with aperion!?

Now I have to decided to which reciever go with, I believe is a hard decision also (meanwhile I will use my old Sony) but if anyone could suggest any good reciever under the 1200U$ I would appreciate.

    Thanks

    Jaun,

I also ordered the 532s today...

I did a lot of AVR research the last few weeks and decided on the Yamaha RX-V3800, It's a $1700 amp, but you can find it for under $1100. The RX-V1800 is essentially the same amp without the USB and network features and it's about $300 less. I'm very happy with my amp and look forward to the speaker upgrade.

If you're interested, this forum has a lot of discussion going:

Good luck and have fun shopping.

    Juan,

Did you order just the 532 L/R’s or did you get a 532 HT setup?

Until I received my Onkyo TX-SR805 130 WPC, I used my 4 year old 110WPC Sony to power my 7.1 setup.

What a difference the 805 made in useable power and clarity over the Sony. The 805 is THX Ultra 2 certified and I highly recommend it.

Although the Yamaha 1800 may not be THX certified it appears to have a power supply that can drive a 7.1 setup all channels driven at rated power equal to the 805.

There are quite a few Onkyo, Denon, Yamaha, Pioneer and Marantz owners here who are satisfied with their purchases.

Wait till you see the Aperions in person, you wont be disappointed.

    Re: I placed my order!!

    Hi Juan,

Once again I have to suggest NAD for a receiver in your price category. The T754 will amaze you. Take the time to visit www.nadelectronics.com and find a dealer near you. Bring your favorite movie or concert DVD and give them a listen.Compare the sound quality to the others you are considering. I am sure you will be happy that you took the time to do so. Ratings alone cant do their products justice. They take a very conservative approach to rating their power and NAD keeps their designs quite simple. The sound quality cant be matched for the same $$.

    Re: I placed my order!!

    Hey Jack,

Well I ordered the 532 HT with some changes: instead of the Center included I order the 533VAC and instead of the S8 APR I ordered the S8. I beleive I will continue my research, but certainly I have to upgrade.

    thanks
