I bought a H/K Avr 235 about a month ago. Everything has worked fine until now. I have everything hooked up properly, and I also have my son's X-Box hooked up to it to get some good sound out of it. My boy was playing it last week and he said it cut out but came back on again. This morning he informed me it cut out again but this time it wont come back on. When I tried to turn it back on it said PROTECT and shut off. I disconnected all the speakers from the back and tried it agian to no avail. Any ideas?????

My old H/K used to do this as well, and I used to unplug it and let it sit for about 20 mins.  Have you try unplugging the receiver to let it reset itself?  Hope this help, good Luck!
