Yes absolutely, her first two albums were brilliant and although they are a bit dated, when they came out they were quite unique and influential.
Homogenic and Vespertine have their moments, but the songs aren't quite as strong and while Vespertine is very pretty it was a little monotonously mellow, in my opinion.
She totally lost me with the last two, I dunno maybe it's just over my head but she's kind of gone to the land of being weird just for the sake of being weird, again IMO.
I saw her live a couple of times and she was awesome, once in a 800-1000 capacity club with Aphex Twin on the Post tour and then again at the Free Tibet Festival in SF in '96. Of all the acts I saw that weekend, Beastie Boys, Smashing Pumpkins, Fugees, Red Hot Chili Peppers, De La Soul, her set sounded the absolute best, festival sound can be a bit dodgy but her engineers had that mammoth system bumping! Definitely the highlight of the weekend, although Beasties always bring it live too.
