I received my 632 L&R's and 532 L&R's and again I am in the attic, stretching the wire. Weather service said it was the hottest day in 30 years here in South Florida, for this time of year. (Note to me: next time order home theater stuff in December) They make a big difference in sound quality. I was using the 532's as fronts, now  the 632's are fronts. The 532's are now the surrounds. I don't have to turn up the volume as much now. My Onkyo 605 powers everything just fine. When the 634-vac gets in we'll see what that does. It should be here Friday, unless the mule thats bringing it falls into the Grand Canyon. Even if that happens I doubt that it would be damaged, Aperion packs them really well. If it gets here Friday that would be good, because I get home from work before my wife. I can unpack it without her seeing that velvet bag. Those bags cost me last week, oh did they cost me.

I ran wire in the attic in January (about 20 degrees), not sure that was any more comfortable   Especially fishin' wire down exterior walls, fun.

OK, I have the 632's in place, and the 532's as surrounds on some nice metal posts. I got speaker stands made by Studio Tech model SP36, The top plate the speaker sits on had no provisions to afix the speaker. The deceided method was to retap the metric threads in the post which are/were metric 6X1.0  to SAE 1/4X20. Well nothing ever goes as planed, when I started the process the nut in the post started to spin with the tapping device. So now It's a weld job. The nuts in all four posts are now spot welded instead of a friction fit and all are retaped to 1/4X20........ Whew. A 3 inch threaded rod is now used to hold the top plate to the post and to hold the 532 to the top plate. Also on Friday I received my 634-VAC, and on Sunday I mounted this beast on the wall in place of a 533-VAC. 40 lbs of weight. I feel as it is the Sword of Damocles hanging over my TV. I know it's up there good, but I still can't get over the feeling. Anyway......... I did notice a big improvement in sound with the 632's and the 532's over what I had, but not enough time has passed to judge the new center.

OK, more results on my upgrade. The 634, 532's and 632's sound great. BUT, as per my last post the granite countertops have not happened YET, no not yet. What has happened is an 8-week-old Standard Poodle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He will be a companion to the 7-year-old Miniature Poodle we already have, according to my wife. As I sit here at work banging away on this keyboard he……………

Ok you wouldn’t know it but I’ll tell you, I had to stop typing this to go clean up a little yellow puddle.

Anyway as I was saying, I am now the proud (he just tipped over the garbage can) owner of a little fluff ball. He also likes to go out at 3:30 AM to pee. Guess who takes him out. His name is Augustus, like the emperor of Rome. Yes he rules me.

8lb puppy takes on 200lb man...........puppy wins! Man oh man those little teeth are sharp. The worst part is, after he makes me yelp in pain, he lets go of my finger and laughs about what just happened.
