    Jack!

I knew you and Fred would take the bait, good boys.   LOL    Do you not get it?  Your posts are gruff and at times rude.  Lets work that out, because you have a TON of great things to say.  This forum is a great place, why do ANYTHING to make it not GREAT?  I love a good debate, but you seem to want an argument, or to prove you are smarter than someone else?  I have no doubt, from reading your posts, that you are intelligent.  But why belittle people?  I could belittle you for having Bose speakers and a sony receiver, but why?  That is your loss not mine! Plus some people get goose bumps when they hear Bose....ONE MANS STEW IS ANOTHER MANS S&*T.  I got an idea for you, use the smiley face icon... :-)... when you are sarcastic or try using "lol".  This will soften your rough dialoge.

I wish you to understand when I post that I am only trying to help others.

This sounds passive aggressive, I am spanking you for your own good son!!!!!   .....LOL

Yeah, I may be wound tight, but I think that is better than being wound loose and sloppy.

Like your Bose speakers, or the sound from the sony?.......:-)

The reason that I ask is that if others do not like what I contribute to this forum I will not continue to post.

If both you and Dan ask me to leave the forum, I will. That is all it will take.

If You, Dan and others would like me to leave this Forum, I will.

STOP SAYING THIS....PLEASE in any way shape or form.  YOU CONTRIBUTE !   :-)

I appreciate Dan’s exuberance when speaking about Aperion speakers.

There is a difference between an eloquent writing and garbage where the writing can be seen in its true form.

So you like his exuberance when writing garbage?

    Debate on boys.

    Anybody else like Cloverfield?

    Re: 5B review.

I thought cloverfield was a cool twist on an old story.  I just get a bit sick of the "shaky cam" stuff.  Did you see the extras on the dvd?  I need to rent that, so I can see if there is any cool stuff on it.

Just thought I would add a little historical perspective on Bose speakers.  Back In the mid 70's while in college I could never pass a hifi joint without stopping.  The best speakers I have ever heard from the standpoint of soundstage placement, depth and width were a pair of Bose 901s.  These were incredibly expensive then, required large amounts of power but had the most impresive sound and all out of a small package about the size of a 6B.  They were activily equalized and put out enormious bass all from one 4" front firing speaker and eight 4" rear firing speakers.  Placement was critical on these things however.  They may still make these.  I know they did until relatively recently but they are not made the same as they were.

    Re: 5B review.

    Russ,

I agree, and I should not have been so vague.  My frustration is with the accousta-crap, and the 3-2-1-boom junk they sell.  I try and steer people to aperion or actually anything else just so in a few years when they look in the mirror they dont want to end it because they dropped 4k on a acousta-crap 7.1 system.  (Nothing hurts more than when you go to your friends house and you see the system set up and he tells you that his wife made him do it!  And then the unthinkable, my friend says "they sound pretty good"!!!!!)

Now as I stated before some people go crazy and wet themselves when they hear the "bose experience" and they are entitled to buy what they like.  It's the "magic dust hangover" that I fear for these folks that drop their hard earned money.  But as I stated, it is all perspective and about the individual.  I will admit that when in college my roomate had a pair of 2.2 bose speakers and they were impressive!  I think someone at bose sprinkels magic dust on their speakers because it is easy to get caught up in the bose sound!  But as we all know "magic dust" doesn't last forever, unless you have a set of 901's.

    Hey 1.mile,J

You can make fun of me all you want for still having Bose speakers. They are in my office running with my desktop PC and listening to AM.J

I have 10 Aperion speakers in my main listen area. 8 Aperions are driven by the TX-SR805 and my secondary front main Aperions are driven by the inferior Sony that can at least handle 2 speakers without distortion.J

“Your posts are gruff and at times rude”. “ Lets work that out, because you have a TON of great things to say”.

Does this mean that you will help me to be more like you with all your infinite wisdom? J

“This sounds passive aggressive, I am spanking you for your own good son!!!!!   .....LOL”

Which one is it, passive or aggressive or did you just want to sound like you knew what you were talking about by coming off as a psychoanalyst trying to please all people all of the time? I would be embarrassed if you were my father,…. SON.J

By posting passive aggressive does that mean you just have no idea but felt the need to post something? Almost forgot J.

“So you like his exuberance when writing garbage”?

Well if you are compelled to write it you may as well be exuberant about it.J

Like your Bose speakers, or the sound from the sony?.......:-)

Well you just may have offended some owners of Sony or Bose who may be satisfied.J

Jack, the “passive aggressive” according to 1.mile.J

    Jack,

Check your blood pressure...........lol  Wow you still don't get it do you!  Passive aggressive, figure it out.  When you make a statement like the one I addressed that is how it comes across to other readers.

Please all people, WTF are you talking about.  Be RESPECTFUL to all people, please the ones you like.  You got some issues, did I hit a touchy spot with the spanking?.........YEP guess I did!  Embarrassed if I was your father?  My father taught me to be humble and RESPECTFUL, and I will teach my kids the same.  You seem, at times, to be neither humble or respectful on this forum...................got it figured out yet..................................yea you got it....................................................PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE!..........................  How is the stew JACK(a$$)SON?

    GAME ON!

Jackson you are hillarious.  MAY BE SATISFIED.......lol  Sounds like a disclaimer on the back of one of those "MAGIC" cubes......lol...lol....lol

You can make fun of me all you want for still having Bose speakers. They are in my office running with my desktop PC and listening to AM.J

You should come up with a marketing plan for Bose, "THE BEST AM SPEAKER EVER THE ACOUSTAMASS AM7, NOW FOR YOUR COMPUTER..................only $699.99 with magic bass cube"  HA, HA, HA no wonder.

    1.mindless.

    (Oops 1.mile sorry),

    No, that is not all.

Do you think this is the place for you to vent your frustrations with three consecutive posts blasting me with your frail comments of anguish trying to humiliate me? It will not work.

What is your BP now? Do you actually have blood running through your veins or is it Jack Daniels?

“My father taught me to be humble and RESPECTFUL, and I will teach my kids the same”.

You Sir have certainly shown a lot of humble and respect in your last 3 posts.

Please direct your next attack on me via PM. The rest of the forum does not need to see or read your vengeance unless you are trying to become a lacking hero of ill fame.

No smiley faces here, you called me out.

Why don’t you conduct a poll regarding how many want me to stay and how many want me to leave? Also include yourself in the equation.

    Re: 5B review.

Wow what is going on...went from a excellent review from Dan to junk...someone on the board reminds me of the Hannibal movies (you will be able to figure out who) anyways Dan do not apologize-you are a excellent reviewer and keep up the good work.  Life is too short to apoligize to someone, just because you are excited about your speakers.  Grammer, spell check, if you can add or not who cares?  By the way I love and feel "bubbly" over my Aperioun speekears also...

No problem, most people have no idea of the quality and innovation that Bose had.  I don't care much for any of their current stuff as a quality HT system and definitely not as a serious eyes closed 2 channel music system.

    Cheers
