    Upgradeitus

    Greetings...

Becuase Upgradeitus is neverending I want to ask your opinions about what I should be saving my money for:

    1.  Upgrade 5b's to 5T's
    2. Upgrade 90WPC AVR to Onkyo SR805
    3. Upgrade 12" Velodyne to 1 Bravus 10D

What do you thinks gonna make the most impact on perfromance?

    Re: Upgradeitus

IMHO, the 805 hands down. Granted, my opinion is a bit biased. I have 4 5bs and a 5c. The 805 playes them very loud. I don't always turn on my Bravus 12. My family room is about 3000 cu feet, and the 805 fills it with room to spare.

    Re: Upgradeitus

Even though it will cost us the most money, honestly I think upgrading the 5Bs to the 5Ts will give you the most marked improvement as the extra 5.25" woofer does make a big difference in the speaker's output and soundstage, which I believe are your current concerns.

However I do think that the 805 is better suited to Aperions than the Yammy, so I would still keep this upgrade as a future consideration and I bet you can get most of your money back for the 661 on the secondary market as it is a popular model.

    Thanks...

Yeah..I got the Yammy for $174 so I could probably get $200 on ebay...Then I just need to wait for a pair of A-Stock 5T's :)....I really, really like the way the Onkyo Makes the Aperions sound over the Yammy...So I just have a fascination with the 805....
