Great!  I rememberthat my wife didn't answer the door when the fed-ex man came with the Aperions.  So I had to wait an extra day..Now that sucked!

Remind me...What system did you get and what AVR are you running?

 

Hey Dan!  Yeah I missed the FedEx guy yesterday by about 10 minutes so, I like you, have had to wait another day...it was not a pleasant night haha  I purchased the 5T Hybrid HD and will be running it on the brand new Harman Kardon 254.  I just have to wait another couple of weeks to receive the 5C speaker as it's backordered.

I bet those 5T's will be sweet.  Don't forget, they will need many hours of break in.  I could really hear a difference after 10 hrs. but it has been over probably 50 hrs. now and they are still getting better.  To be honest until about 10 hours I was a bit worried.  Not to worry, now the 5Bs are my little darlings!

lol nice.  I plan on turning the system on and letting it run during the day while I'm at work to break it in.  Then of course, I'll be able to unleash the full power and potential of Aperion with the THX trailer...and many movies and games :)

Welcome to the family Patrick. When we break in speakers for reviews and such, often we butt the speakers face to face into each other with one speaker wired out of phase. This makes it so you get a cancellation of sound waves, and you can REALLY blast the volume without being able to hear very much. Just a thought, if perhaps you wanted to keep things moving in the midnight hour.
