    hey,

wait a minuite, on your "systems" page it shows the towers with the trunicated and the normal 4 inch woofer.....  Weird, I will investigate tomorrow!

Nice catch, the system picture is accurate with the angled corners and the individual speaker render is not.  The 4B and 4C have the same angled corners.

    Patrick:
So question...when you test these, do you have them as Small or Large on your receiver?

We have all of the front speakers hooked up to the 875 set to full band, which is the equivalent of setting the speakers to large in other brand receivers.

Good eyes! The individual pictures on the product page are of pre-production samples that only had two sides of the frame chopped. We are working on new product images that will have the correct frames. The system photos are accurate.

    Re: Aperion 4T's

    folks,

I just spent the better part of an hour with Caleb in the sound room.  WOW, the 4T is impressive to say the least!   Imaging was superb.  Bass was so good on one song I wrongfully accused Caleb of turning on the Bravus 8d!!!!!!!!! lol.  I got up off the couch and checked the 8D and the 10D.  Now don't get me wrong, they are not quite as full/deep as the 5T, but for their size they sound amazing.  I hope I don't sound too "bubbly" but I can not wait to listen to them again with some of my own music!  Another fantastic speaker to bolster Aperions line!

So how's those 4T's breaking in at WHQ?

I seriously have a dilema.  Pull the trigger on 4T's or save up for the 5T's to replace my 5B's

    Re: Aperion 4T's

    Hey Dan,

There is an upgrade path for both scenarios. You can upgrade to 4T's now then upgrade the 4T's to 5T's later. Since they are both more expensive models the 1 year trade-up program is an option.

    Re: Aperion 4T's

Like selling candy to babies!  Reminds me of the movie Finding Nemo.  When all the seagulls gather round the fish and jump up and down saying "More, more, more".  Just throw a new speaker out they're and watch us all flock and flail all about in tireless, relentless fashion.

I will have to determine how to prioritize now.  I have 4T's, 5T's and component amps on my short list now.  Also, any ideas of how to blow a subwoofer while at the same time making the wife think it was an accident?

To be honest, I don't think I will be happy until I have a 5.1 200 watt per channel Adcom amping pushing 5T's,5C, 5B's and two Bravus 8D's.  That is a long way off. Until then I will continue to flock and flail about.

I recommend imlementing a community support group forum for upgradeitus.

Thanks for the info on the trade up policy. Wasn't sure if you could trade up after a trade up.  I'll keep that in mind.

    Re: Aperion 4T's

It sounds like a sweet deal to get the 4T's and then trade up for the 5T's but.......once you get the 4T's you may want to keep them and have the 5T's too.  Then you'll have to go through withdrawal for giving up your beloved 4T's to get the 5T's. Just a thought as I want to make sure you consider your mental health first.

I have one question for the Guru's....Any chance you guys could take some photos of the new "family" of towers next to each other like you did for the classical line? I'd like to see how the 4T looks next to the 5T. I know you guys list the dimensions, but I'd like to visually see them next to each other.

Edit: Yippie I just made Audio Apprentice

Wow Dan, you have been promoted to Audio Guru. You have the actual Gurus outranked. If that does not make you bubbly, nothing will.

The only solution is for me to start padding my post count with ridiculous pictures of cats, like this:

    Hey Dan,

You might have a problem with upgrading to the 4T. I am not sure they will fit in your bubbles!
