    Opinion

I just purchased Aperion speakers. I ordered the Bookshelf 6B's and the center channel the Intimus 6-C. Does anyone else have these speakers, and if so, what's your opinion of them?

    Thanks,

    Hi Latoya,

Greetings and welcome to the Aperion community.  I'm sure you will enjoy your buying experience.  I usually don't reply to posts where I can't answer someones question but I wanted to point something out which you may or may not know.  Those 6B's are some serious hardware and at 82db sensitivity require some good clean power.  So Just wondering what type of equipment you are using to power them?  I would definately not recommend an entry level AVR for those babies.  It just wouldn't do them justice.

Best of Luck and enjoy your new Gear!

    Hey there,

I just picked up the 6b's and the 6c as well (4b's for surround and Bravus 10). They sound fantastic. The silk domes are how can I describe, "silky smooth" No pun intended. They image quite well. Midrange is superb  Really can't believe how much bass those little bookshelves put out, however would still like more for two channel stereo. As Dan mentioned, the low sensitivity does need more power. I have the Onkyo 875 which provides plenty of power. Enough to get the neighbors across the street to come over and tell me to turn it down. That's always nice. I was planning on using the 6b's just to hold me over until I could afford to upgrade to the 6ts but I want to keep these beauties. Now it appears that they will in the future be providing the surround channels. I can only imagine how the 6t's sound.
