I'm charging the ol' camera battery now. I'll see if Hicks and I can grab some shots of the sound rooms a bit later today...

We want interactive click and drag 360's to. Maybe put a couple buttons on there for animations to.  So if you click on a button you can see a computerized Hicks walking around and polishing the speakers or something.

Maybe when I brush up on my camera skills, I'll post some more which are less blury with better lighting. We'll have Jason dress up as well. You can see that he loves the camera.

    Have a good weekend all!

Ha, well this is the NW where we don't dress up for anything.  OK, maybe weddings and funerals, but that's it!

Sure thing, how does $500/month sound?   Big Smile

Shoot...That 6T next to the 5T is nothing. Did you see that 6B sitting next to the 5B?  That thing is GINOURMOUS!  Howly cow!  Kind of looks funy for a bookshelf.

Very true Dan. The 6B looks like the 6T that got its body cut off.

Haha. I know it. I realize that this comment was most likely a direct reference to Jason Hicks wearing dress socks with Nikes...Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

    Re: Pictures of Demo Rooms

Hmmm...I wonder what would happen if they took the 6B cabinet and put two 6" or 5" drivers and two tweeters in them

M&K used to make a S1-B Bookshelve that had two 6"drivers and two hard dome tweeters in each.  They still sound pehnomenal!  To bad I can't find a picture on the internet.

Or to get a little crazy they could do something like the M&K S1-C

    http://www.hometheaterhifi.com/volume_7_1/m&k-s1c-mx-700-speakers-1-2000.html

I heard in a podcast or interview with John a short while back with some rumblings about Aperion designing an upper-audiophile grade brand of speaker with performance being top priority.

Wouldn't that be crazy, a bookshelf with two drivers and two tweeters?  At least it wouldn't be silly, because it's been done before, and done very, very well.

    Re: Pictures of Demo Rooms

Sweet looking setups!  Man, I've been eyeing Aperion's biggest towers since they were the Intimus 633-Ts.  I remember thinking the 70 pounds listed under the specs had to be for both speakers- there's no way each speaker could weigh that much.  After seeing the 6Ts with the 5s and 4s, I now see the weight is for real.  The 6Ts have more than twice the depth of the new 4Ts.  They're monsters, and I still want them more than ever!

    Re: Pictures of Demo Rooms

Indeed...They are big boys. The cabinetry is made out of a 1" high density fiberboard which is a very rigid, heavy duty material. That's where it all comes from really. You need material like that though, because it ensures that the cabinet will be extremely non resonant which ensures the best sound from your speaks.

    Re: Pictures of Demo Rooms

And as a bonus, the heft of the 6Ts will keep them firmly in place, should one of my buddies bump into the speakers while head-banging in a drunken stupor...

    Party!!!
