    Re: 5B vs 4T

    Hey Bill,

Thanks for the input! Yep, you assume correctly; I'm putting speakers in there driven off the receiver in lieu of putting in a dedicated shelf system (and getting another piece of furniture to accommodate it).  After I posted, I was looking at the differences between the 5Bs and the 4Ts, and noticed the freq. response differences... given that I'd prefer speakers that could dip lower, the 4Ts look like the better bet. I'd noted the difference in price too ($105 more for the 4T), and I may just give them a listen. Big Smile

My current plan is to pick up my receiver (Denon 3808) in the next couple of weeks (before they're discontinued and the pipeline dries up), and pick up whichever speakers I'll be running in the library just to test it out (given that the 4Ts aren't shipping for another month, I might start with the 5Bs), as well as getting the added benefit of seeing how an Aperion speaker sounds. If I decide to keep 'em, I'll shift them into their final home and buy the 5.1 setup for the great room. And then... after getting everything set up... bliss.

    Hopefully. Big Smile
