Have the Wii running through my 876 via aftermarket component wires. I did notice some differences on my screen, image was cleaner (sharper edges). Not some major changes but wire was fairly cheap. As for the sound its stereo and for some reason really loud lol.

Not sure if you have any in your area but GameStop had a good deal at the time.
