I am planning on buying the above reciever. Do you have any specific recommendations on speakers to go with this. I found the following a good fit.

Any recommendation on should i got with 7.1 or 5.1 given that most of the content is 5.1(90% based on your tutorial )

Intimus 4T-CB Hybrid SD

Why is 4t-CB costlier than 5b sd? evenif 4t is older?

BTW does anyone have similar setup? My room size is 12x16

I would start out 5.1, you can always add the two extra speakers later.  The 4T is not older than the 5B.  The 5B was a significant update of the earlier 5 series bookshelf speaker.  The 5B was out for some months before the totally new 4T was released.  The 4T is more expensive than the 5B because it is a tower.  It also goes lower in Bass and has a fuller midrange.  

I started with 2 5B's and an 8D.  I traded my 2 5Bs for 2 4Ts and could not be happier, well maybe if they would have accidentally sent me 6Ts instead.
