    Re: What should I do??

    Hey Scott,

I just wanted to chime in. I have a room which is a bit smaller (11 x 15) and ended up going with the 6T/6C/4B/8D. I had the 5T's for about 8 months before trading them up for 6T's since I ended up using the setup more often for music than movies. The system from Aperion is fantastic, but what I've found more outstanding is the price. You didn't write in your username where you're from but I suggest you look to see if there are any high end speaker stores near you for an experiment. I suggest you try the Aperion setup risk free but when you set up the Aperion speakers try playing some of your favorite 2 channel music and movies. NEXT go immediately to a high end store and figure out where the Aperions fit with their sound compared with the speakers in shop. Now look at the cost of those speakers. It's terrifying.

I live in NYC and tried this recently as I went looking for tiny ugly bose sized speakers for my father. He couldn't fit the 4B's so I needed to find tiny tin boxes. Even though I love my 6T's I now realize the 4B's have also spoiled me. Try finding such a great sounding small sized speaker with a silk tweeter for anything near the price of the 4B, but this is another discussion in it of itself. In any case I went into their high end room to examine their stuff. I don't need to use names but there are some extremely expensive speakers out there. I brought some CD's in with me and did a lot of 2 channel listening and I felt the only speakers which were on the same level as the 6T's were the KEF Reference 207/2. These speakers are >$20,000 per pair so now I am EXTREMELY content knowing I made the right choice going with Aperion. The 6T's are an AMAZING steal for <$2000. In any case the Aperion staff is great and they actually stand by their in home trial and trade up program. You really have nothing to loose.

The only thing I must warn you. Purchasing Aperion speakers will lead to an increase in the amount of time you spend listening to music. It happens to everybody.
