I bought a Intimus S8 powered sub just a few days ago. I am very impressed with the build quality, overall style/substance, and the output from this 8" driver is blowing me away! I have used 12" Kicker Comp drivers, 15" Pioneer woofers, and many 8" speakers in the past and I must say, this sub rules! I popped in a CD probably made for car audio competitions called Maximum Boom for your System. It has a few tracks designed to test the lower octaves, from as low as 10Hz up to about 100Hz. While I don't have a sound pressure meter or an oscilloscope, I do have 35 year old ears, the last twenty being spent listening to a wide genre of music-from rap to classical to rock and this subwoofer is quite the power house! And customer satisfaction? Please.
