I wanted to know where I should place these speakers. I have a 5.1 system (5T, 5C, 12D and 5DB) The two options are:

1.  On the wall about 6 inches ahead of the listening position.  Meaing the back edge of the speaker would be centered on the listening position,

 2.  On the SAME wall  (not both speakers on the same wall but same wall as option #1) about 3 feet behind the listening position. 

 Also, if it matters, the side walls are about 6 feet from either side of the couch.

 I plan on placing the speakers about 6' from the floor.  Good height?
