It only gets better.
I am on month ten of my ownership experience and can only say good things about my Aperion system. I would echo your statement about not finding better sound without spending multiple times the money.
Depending on your listening spectrum a stronger center channel can improve your experience. Personally I like concert DVD's. Depending on the person mixing the surround seventy five to eighty percent of the dialog can come from your center channel at any given time. My 532's and 533 do a great job with the sound stage however if I had to do it again I would go for a six inch driver as I feel voices with lower resonances get reproduced more accurately on the larger diameter driver. I would recommend staying with a common driver size across your front stage. This is not as important as matching tweeters across the system however I do feel as though it should be mentioned. By introducing a slightly different frequency response you could impact your sound staging. Not as important on sides and or rears but on the fronts, myself, I would keep matched drivers and tweeters if I could.
