Ironically, I exchanged the Onkyo for a Denon 789.  It has a much better sound. The Onkyo never sounded "full" .  It always seemed dull or flat.  Pure and Direct were particularly dissapointing.  Sitting here listening in Pure mode is wonderful.  There is a tremendous difference.  If i'm moving around, playing music in 5ch. stereo is like having a concert in my living room.  Very Bubbly.  ;)   Best off all, I'm now enjoying my 4B surrounds.  Just listened to the opening scenes of Transformers.  It's a whole new experience.  I'm looking forward to putting it through it's paces.
