Nick, that is indeed a beautiful stand. I looked far and wide for something exactly like that. After not finding one, I drew up plans for one. They are eerily similar to that stand. It's perfect. Great find, really. I think I know what I'm saving for now. Thanks again.

I like how the surrounds vanish into the bookshelves. By the way, check out www.standoutdesigns.com . They have 2 tv stands that can fit the 6C speaker, and they are gorgeous, to boot. I got the N702 3 weeks ago, and its a freakin' monster!!! Over 25" width clearance for a speaker

That's ok. My speakers talk to me to. My 5B's keep telling me they want me to bring some 5T's home so they can have a big brother to talk to...And my 4 B's keep telling me they want to be part of a 7.1 system.

My playstation 3 talks to me to....It keeps telling me that it wants me to get a new AVR so it can play lossless audio...But I keep telling it that all the AVR's I can afford with HDMI are only 28lbs and right now the non-hdmi AVR that I own weighs 40 lbs...I keep trying to explain to the PS3 that the power supply of the 40 lb AVR is far superior then the 28lbers and it is meant to keep the speakers happy.

I tell the PS3 that I've had an aVR with HDMI before and it didn't make the speakers sound as nice as the one I have now. Then I go to work the next day and I feel guilty and i think about whether or not I should get my PS3 a receiver with HDMI.

So you are not the only who's crazy around here.

I currently have my 6C underneath my LCD. I guess I feel like it looks a little tacky, and my center is screaming to me that it deserves more. Yes, my speakers talk to me, usually trying to get me to buy them things like their own cabinet, speaker stands, a more powerful amp, more friends/speakers to join the family. It's weird. I haven't posted my picks yet, cuz I'm a little embarrassed about it. My 6B's are right next to my center channel, so my soundstage is quite narrow. And the 6B's are not close to ear level, well below actually. Am currently getting bids from cabinet shops for my stand, but custom does cost quite a bit more. My wife is buying me some real nice Studiotech stands for my birthday next month, gotta love her for that. Still shopping for an amp, heavily leaning towards the Emotiva XPA-2. Once all this comes together, hopefully by Christmas, I will post my pics like the rest in here. I love seeing what everyone has done with their rooms. I think speakers are very good interior designing tools, at least thats what the geek in me says.

thnx for the kudo's guys, the kitten is just a tabby i think? as far as the sub placement i really wasnt sure where to put it.I dont have a lot of room there, the only other place i can see to put it is to the right of the stand on the floor?

Also never seen a sub on a rack like that. I think that it would cause vibrations as well. But it definately looks good. I'm in the process of trying to get a tv stand built. I can't seem to find any that will fit my 6C under the tv where I would like it. Those 4B's look like they were meant to be in that CD tower. Very cool.

If your TV has a base you can always just put the TV right on top of the 6C.

A 6C or for that matter a 5C are difficult to fit in most stands availible. I designed myself one but it would end up costing around $500 or more unless some talented wood worker would not charge me for labor. Even the one I designed would only fit the 5C. My plan is to get a couple of stands from Ikea, similar but not identical to the ones in these pictures. They will be 20 inches deep and around 14 inches high. I will put them side by side like rumpity did and place the center in the center flush with the front. I will then build a box from wood and paint it black. It will be high enough to just raise the flat screen above the center. It will be shorter than the center by the height that the tv stand is below the screen. It will be invisible for all practical purposes.

Of course I still have to get the center, front towers instead of my 5Bs, and the the TV! Oh well, I like to have thing like this planned out.

I love that movie/soundtrack. I have mine on a carpeted floor with the metal feet. I think I'm being skeptical probably cuz I've never seen that before. It definitely looks really good though. I would experiment with it if I had a similar setup.

The Bravus line mechanically vibrate suprizing little because the opposing driver are in phase. Accoustic vibrations are a different subject.

Looks nice. I wish I had that kind of room. I would have thought the sub would cause vibrations up there. My speakers are supposed to arrive on Saturday. WOOOHOOOO!!!!!!

Very interesting setup! I like seeing the towers up on the stand. Looks great by me and I like that you've concealed the surrounds. What kind of cat do you have? Looks like a bengal to me (I have two little bengals). Be careful as mine like using the 5T's as lookout towers.....
